Seems that speeding is strong in Baytown since they do have the Houston Raceway Park - drag racing! So much that the local police are hiring. And that's a real license to speed. Baytown Municipal Court is a short walk from the League of Women Voters Park.

About the area

I-10 one of the major interstates in the U.S. passes by this town. Location of the Battle of San Jacinto, one of the most important battles for the state of Texas. The San Jacinto monument, in the vicinity, is one of the tallest in the world, with the lone star high above the monument. Another interesting monument is the Battleship Texas found near the same grounds.
