About the area

Beaver County is home to the Beaver County Court, but it contains more than just that. It is a small population county founded by Mormon settlers in 1856. The city of Beaver is the county seat and is therefore where the Beaver City Court is located. The City and county of Beaver were named after the animal that was found in great numbers in the area when settlers first arrived.
