| About the area |
Box Elder was first settled in 1850 and has a rich heritage which can be seen throughout Brigham. No visit to this city is complete without a visit to some of the historic sites. There are the sites of the Davis fort and the Box Elder fort, the William Knudsen log cabin, Union Pacific Depot of the Oregon Short Line company, the Tithing office, Box Elder LDS tabernacle, Old City hall and Fire station and the Brigham City Co-op store. Maintaing the heritage of the city are the Heritage Arts festival and the Peach Days celebration. |
