Junction District Court is the district court of Piute county in the Sixth Judicial district of Utah. The Piute County Justice court, is located in the same building as this court (Piute County Courthouse) and uses the same post office box, and phone and fax numbers. However it is presided over by the Honorable Mark McIff.

About the area

Junction, so named because it is located where the East Fork and Sevier rivers meet, was settled around 1880. Several examples of the Victorian style of houses still remain in this town. Piute State Park, which is the site of Piute Reservoir, offers opportunities for fishing, camping, boating, waterfowl hunting and rock hounding. Circleville, in this county was the boyhood home of Butch Cassidy which in the Summer months is open to visitors.
