Amherst County in Virginia has 2 sections - Amherst and Madison Heights, both of which are towns. The County is largely rural with many tobacco farmlands. US Rt 60 and US Rt 29 traverse Amherst County. Near the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains, Lynchburg, but not a lot more around these parts. |
