The first settlers of Falls Church arrived in the late 1600's and the early 1700's from the territory of Tidewater; they were looking for fertile lands and peaceful horizons. The history has awarded this community with an efficient government, which runs this city wisely. The smallest county in the country has a lot to offer and a lot to come as well.
Close to DC and the Maryland border, Falls Church has a lot going on both in and around. Plus I-66 shoots by. Some big companies here too, including Computer Sciences and General Dynamics. There was a nasty shooting (are there ever nice shootings) in Falls Church in July of 2008. |
