Luray Magistrate

Luray Magistrate serves as the magistrate court of Page county in the Twenty-Sixth judicial district of Virginia.

Several years ago the town of Luray undertook the restoration and repair of much of the downtown area resulting in area where you can find paved walking trails, museums and monuments. Buildings over 100 years old are now antique, boutique and outdoor stores and venues for festivals and the performing arts. The street is now a registered National Historic District. The downtown is a combination of restored properties dating back to the 1700's Civil War era landmarks, quaint shops, charming bed and breakfasts and unique restaurants and cafes. A pebbled covered bridge that crosses Hawksbill Creek, running through the center of town leads to Hawksbill Greenway where you are likely to find wildlife and a variety of birds
