Lebanon Magistrate is the magistrate court of Russell county in the 29th judicial district of Virginia but is is under the chief magistrate for the Twenty-Eighth judicial district.

About the area

One of the attractions in Lebanon is Jessee's Mill, a structure over 200 years old and on the list of National Historic Landmark's. Because the mill became a central place for grinding agricultural products, it also soon became a trading post for the Mill Creek area. The mill went through several improvements over the years and now stands three stories high. Glade Hollow park has several softball fields and tennis courts and is the scene from time to time of local tournaments.
