Montpelier Superior Court is probably the place where you sue the state. We're just guessing, but it might be a safe guess, since the Vermont state government is here. Hubbard Park is a short walk from the courthouse.

About the area

Montpelier is, of course, home to the main part of Vermont government. It may be most famous as the state capital most schoolchildren can't remember. Goes with being small you know. Delightful gold dome on top of the legislative structure. Even fewer can remember the name of the river that trickles by -- Winooski. Must be Polish or something.
