About the area

If you want spectacular; you've come to the right place. A spectacular river canyon, cutting through the Cascade Mountain Range, the Columbia River Gorge with its waterfalls is located here. The city originally was a watering stop on the Yakima-Okanogan Wagon Trail. Goldendale grew into a farming and timber community. The town was rebuilt by a determined group of citizens; after a fire destroyed it in the early 1900's
