ABOUT THE AREA
San Antonio City founded by the Spanish military in the early 18th century serves as the county seat of Bexar County, which was named because explorers arrived here on the day of St. Anthony and reports an estimated population of more than 1214700 residents. This territory was established as a municipality in the 1730s and it is located more than 300 kilometers away from Houston and approximately 225 kilometers away from the Gulf of Mexico.
