The Clanton City Park is a great place for people in town to enjoy various recreational sports. The complex includes Youth Boys baseball fields, Youth Girls softball fields, regulation Tennis courts, Men's League softball fields, a Soccer field and a Little League football field. When the weather is warm, folks can find plenty of place to picnic here and to cool off there's that nice Public swimming pool in June and July. That's not the only place cool to take a dip; there's the E.M. Henry Skill Center and Pool with it's swimming pool, weight room and skill center. Visitors who want to come away with the taste of Chilton will want to visit the Durbin Farms or Peach Park with their selection of famous Chilton County peaches, plums and nectarines; and Heaton Pecan Farm for their great nuts candies and desserts. |
