The annual Pioneer Village Spring fest is held at the open house of the White County Historic Museum in early May. In addition to the demonstrations of pioneer life such as leather working, wood working, wood carving, blacksmithing, quilting, spinning and Dutch oven cooking; farm animals, antique Antique tractors and toy trains are on display. There are costumed guides to help in the museum buildings. Hand crafted items and food are available for purchase and live music provides the entertainment.
