Needles is located on the banks of the Colorado River that borders Arizona and California. It is right across the bridge from Arizona. The Colorado river offers the residents of Needles a plethora of things to do on weekends and Holidays life river rafting, kayaking, boating, camping and many water related sport. This has also driven the city to be a preferred holiday city among other famous cities in California. Colorado. The city is dotted with many parks and recreational areas along the banks of the river. The weather is evergreen here and the effects of fall and colors is seen much lesser in these parts, however since there are no extreme weather conditions this is an ideal recreational and outing zone. Just across the bridge there is Mitchell Caverns in Providence Mountains. These mountains are a part of the Mojave Desert and this is not all. Head out 20 miles in any direction from needles and you a e sure to find hundreds of things to do.
