Windham is a quiet place with a lot of tranquility and beautiful scenic countryside. There are a lot of diary farms and many people cultivate cattle here. Also a lot of Cheese and milk production is concentrated in Windham. The industry also spreads to paper and tools. The Willimantic area is possibly even quieter than neighboring Putnam, though it is not a noisy rivalry. Mainly they argue over whose grass grows quicker. Willimantic usualy wins that one.
