The County Criminal Court Records Department is the main office for processing cases and paperwork relating to traffic citations, misdemeanor violations, county and municipal ordinance violations, boating, fishing and miscellaneous non-criminal infractions and parking violations. Traffic cases requiring Court appearances are transferred to the North or South County Branch Office depending upon where the offense occurred. The case will be transferred back to the County Criminal Court Records to be heard by a judge at the Criminal Justice Center if a public defender is appointed to the case or if there is a request for a jury trial.

Two beautiful golf courses are locate near the court. The Countryside Country club, a private club, offers 27 holes of golf, 14 lighted tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools and a fitness center. The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf course, a course open to the public offers 18 holes of golf.
