Marysville Municipal Court

US 36, an East/West road, passing through Marysville is met by US 77, a North/South road, as it zig-zags through the city.

The City Park is unique in that it is not just a park, but it has great interest for visitors as an outdoor museum. Located in the park are a sod house, a rural schoolhouse, a steam locomotive, and a 1901 Union Pacific Depot. There are other museums to visit in this city; each unique in its own way. With over 1,000 dolls, toys and accessories in the Doll Museum as well as collections of Indian items, toys and historical items; the museum is nationally known for its collections. Visit the white frame Victorian house which is the Koester House museum and you will be treated to the sight of luxurious furnishings which are the Koester belongings. The complex includes a summer kitchen, ice house and carriage house. The statuary here is a rare sight which includes white bronze sculptures, cast iron lions and dogs at the gates, cast iron urns and a fountain all of which have been restored. The Historic Marshall County Courthouse is now a museum and genealogical research library.
