Wabash park, Colbert park and Norwood park each have a lighted basketball court, playground area, picnic pavilion, barbeque grills and public restrooms. In addition Wabash has a lighted tennis court, Norwood has a softball field and another park, Corner has gardens and a fountain. There are also two walking trails in town. The annual Montgomery County Fair, held in the middle of July has as its motto "Sew It, Grow It, Show" There is live music, food and a truck and tractor pull. You've probably seen a demolition derby at some time but probably not any like the ones held at this fair. There's a demolition derby for school buses, one for semis and another for combines.
