New Florence advertises itself as a city with plenty of room for expansion in both the Southern and Western parts. The Stone Hill Winery is great for a day visit with wine tastings an opportunity to see the production of champagne. Baldwin State Wildlife, Thornhill and Schulz State Wildlife and Danville Conservation areas are located a little to the South of New Florence. For some great car racing you can visit the dirt track at Montgomery Motorsports park Saturdays from the end of May to the middle of September.
