Bolivar Circuit Court is the circuit court of Polk County in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit court system.

About the area

The Polk county museum occupies three floors of the North Ward School, built around 1903 and operating as an elementary school until around 1965 and now listed on National Register of Historic Places. Thirteen rooms and areas hold the exhibits which include ancient man-made objects such as possibly 10,000 year old arrowheads, tomahawk blades and hide scrapers; a horsehair chair and sofa from around 1815 and a bed made the year the county was born; and working old-time kitchen and farming implements and rug loom. There is a two story log cabin on the grounds which was probably built around 1867 and moved here. You can relax in the gazebo which is also on the grounds.
