| About the area |
The Annual Fall Pilgrimage held each October includes a nighttime tour of the Historic Raymond Cemetery where local residents dress up as and act out the parts of former Raymond residents, soldiers, and heroes. The main branch of Hinds Community college, a two year institution training people for employment in various fields, is located here. The school has curricula offering courses in various fields such as Biomedical Equipment Repair, Nursing, Culinary Arts, Electronics and Graphic Design. |
