Drivers can go merrily rolling along, no speeding please, on SR 14 or SR 16 both of which meet US 61 in town.

About the area

For many years if you were driving along US 61 you would see a familiar site south of town, the Red Barn. This landmark was a long red barn Rolling Fork and remained although it was deserted. The Department of Defense bought the barn around 2009, however failed to do any maintenance or repairs to it. In April, 2011, strong winds caused a big piece of the roof to fall. But the big barn remains though torn, tattered and ravaged by time.
