A small borough of around 1800 people, Lake Como is a completely self-sufficient unit with medical facilities, good schools and shopping centers. People flock to this borough in droves during beach season. The Shark River park and the Shark River Country Club are about a couple of miles away from the Municipal Court. One can hike, fish and ice-skate in the Shark River park. And don't forget little Lake Como, of course.
