About the area

Kennewick is a moderately large city located along the southwest bank of the Columbia River. Columbia Park is a 400 acre park which is located on the banks of the Columbia River. The park has many great features including a Youth Fishing Pond, a boat launch area and a Band Shell stage. Vista Field the local airport is a very busy place. With 40 single-engine aircraft based there the airport recently experienced 45,000 annual operations. The annual operations total included flight activity conducted by the United Parcel Service (UPS). the major runway is 4,000 feet long, 150 feet wide and has an asphalt surface.
