At one time Watershed Park and its wells were the source of nearly every glass of water in the city. Moxlie Creek Springs Basin in the park is the source of Moxlie Creek where skunk cabbages and salmonberries thrive. Cabbages are bad enough; but skunk cabbages, hold your nose. When the waterworks in the park closed; the area was preserved through the efforts of the citizens. |
