Philippi Circuit Court is the Nineteenth Circuit Court of Barbour county in the Judicial Circuit Court system of West Virginia.

About the area

The annual "Blue and Gray Reunion" historical re-enactment is held in Phillippi at the end of May and into June to remember the first land battle of the Civil War. If you visit this event you can see Civil War campsites which have been erected, artillery, little soldiers' battles and an amputation re-enactment. Additional things taking place at this event are parades, arts and crafts displays, a Civil War ball, a 5k Run and a Quilt Show. Of course there is enough food around to feed the hungriest of visitors.
