Marlinton Circuit Court

Marlinton Circuit Court is the Eleventh Circuit Court of Pocahontas County in the Judicial Circuit Court system of West Virginia.

Cranberry Glades Botanical Area covers close to 750 acres consisting of bogs or acidic wetlands. There are Red Spruce, hemlock and Yellow Birch trees here as well as carnivorous or insect-eating plants. It is not unusual to spot American Black Bear, West Virginia Northern Flying Squirrel, Red-tailed Hawk, American Bald Eagle, Red Fox, coyote, White-tailed Deer, Cooper Hawk or Eastern Screech-Owl as you walk through the area. A stroll on the half mile boardwalk will take you past such beautiful varied plants as Bishop’s Cap, Jewelweed, False Hellebore, Indian Pipe, Turtlehead, Wild Raisin, Sundew, Grass Pink Orchid and the Pitcher Plant.
