Comments The village court in Ravena is often confused with Coeymans Town Court, which is in the village and has a Ravena mailing address.
About the area Ravena is a village within the Town of Coeymans, at the southeastern edge of Albany County. It is part of a shared school district -- Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (RCS).
Hours of Operation Clerk: Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 PM. Court session is Wednesday evenings.
Judges Hon. Virginia Pearson ??
Prosecutors Albany DA. Troopers used to prosecute their own tickets, but we think that's been picked up by the DA or a village attorney.
Type Of Cases Lots of Thruway speeding tickets, along with other local court fare such as DWI, and criminal cases.

2008-06-12 04:45:23: The Judge is Hon. Judge Warner, not Pearson. The village attorney prosecutes the tickets for State Troopers and Coeymans Police. The sheriff's still prosecute their own tickets.
2008-06-12 04:46:56: Also, criminal matters are prosecuted by the Albany County Assistant District Attorney, Brad Sherman. [Note -- ADAs in Albany County change over frequently.]
