Comments	Chief Clerk: Robin Robillard. This court can get fairly busy, but not as bad as the larger towns or cities nearby. Staff is easy to work with. If you get there early you may find yourself waiting outside for a while. Stay in your car until the doors open if it's raining.
About the area	Another blue collar community along the Hudson north of Albany. Home to the Watervliet Arsenal, the last great cannon maker in the US.

Prosecutors	ADA David Friedman is here a lot, and he's a great guy. Sometimes it's Renee Merges, who is also quite pleasant - but she means business when she has to. For traffic matters you may be able to work them out with an Assistant City Attorney, but don't expect a speedy reply. The head City Attorney, Yorden Huban, is a solid lawyer and a gentleman to boot.
Type Of Cases	Speeding tickets on I-787, other traffic, some DWI and other criminal cases. There seems to be a bit of drug trafficking in Watervliet and those felonies start in Watervliet City Court.
