About the area

The annual Beatles at the Ridge festival is held in September in downtown Walnut Ridge. The festival celebrates the visit by the Beatles for a rest stop at the airport in the 1960's. It features three stages of live entertainment where local and national musicians and musical groups perform the Beatles, early Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country and Bluegrass music. There are also games, inflatables for the kids, a Beetle-Bug Car Show, over 100 vendors selling arts & crafts, memorabilia and great food. You might also want to take in the duck calling contest, dog costume contest, and Rumblin’ Around the Ridge motorcycle show.
