A glimpse into the history of Clearwater can be seen at its Historical Society museum. It took ten years of hard work and fundraising to complete this facility. Now nearly 8,000 items have been collected and placed in the museum. Within the structure of the museum the replica of a house was created, which has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bath, dining room, and parlor.In the original part of the museum Other display areas and exhibits consist of the Military Room, Summer Kitchen, Laundry Room, School Room, Doctor/Dentist Office and General Store. Each October, the town celebrates its Fall festival. The History Through Threads Quilt show, at this festival, is a display of quilts related to Clearwater and together with Hooks, Shuttle and Needlework diswplayed has competition for prizes in the sewing categories. The festival also has a car and motorcycle show.
