The Springfield Falcons hockey team are a big attraction to the city. Hockey fans buy season tickets to see the Falcons. The Edmonton Oilers are working with them on a package to help more visitors view thier games. Springfield is also a great city that offers city block concerts during the summer. Local bands put on the show and even some headliners. Many events happen in this area because of Springfields many conference centers. This city is one for business and marketing and needs space to hold these events. The Basketball Hall of Fame is also located in Springfield. Every year people from all over the U.S. come to visit. There are also several parks in the area and nearby lakes make it a great summer area. Must be a significant Latino population because the area actually has one or two Spanish-language radio stations.
