Kids eyes will pop if you take them to the Nicholas Beazley Aviation museum located at the Martin Community center. Here they will see such unusual aircraft as the New Day Plane built around 1929 by the aviator for whom the museum is named, a trainer built around 1931 whose wings fold back, a Flying Flea built around 1937, a 1936 Monocoupe and a trainer glider built for World War II. The other exhibits include a World War I collection, a replica of an assembly area in the Nicholas-Beazley Airplane company, a replica of a classroom in the Marshall Flying school and a replica of the Nicholas-Beazley catalog department. There are a couple of mockups of aircraft cockpits for youngsters and adults to try out. The city's Aquatic center has multiple slides, zero-depth entry and a separate diving well. The disc golf course has 36-holes and there is also a city skate park.
