The 5K and 2K Run and Walk start off the day at the annual Art & Soul Festival; held in the beginning of April at the National Guard Armory which has been reconstructed to form the new Lexington Multiplex Complex. The live entertainment starts in the morning and one of its features is the car show with entries of antiques, custom cars and pickups. Rides are provided for the kids and the adults can look over the arts and craft booths before heading for the food vendors.
