About the area

The 80-acre lake in Howard Stafford Park, will keep you busy fishing after you've set up the camper. It's been stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. There are also has baseball fields and a volleyball court along with pavilions and picnic tables here for your enjoyment. This is also Pontotoc's site for fireworks on the Fourth of July.
