The residents of Minot have the use of several good roads; US 2, US 2 Bypass, US 52, US 52 Bypass, US 83 and US 83 Bypass.

The Roosevelt Park zoo is not only the place to see animals but also the place for the annual Boo at the Zoo event just before Halloween. The zoo provides for trick or treat stations, creepy crawly animal encounters and scary story time in the discovery barn. At other times you would want to visit this site to see the wonderful groups of animals, primates, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. This town goes for Halloween in a big way they also have Halloween at the Angelic Gardens where kids can explore the haunted cottage and all can take a haunted wagon ride. Located across from the Roosevelt zoo you can find Corbett field the site of professional and amateur baseball games. You will probably want to visit the Dakota Territory Air Museum to see their collection of military aircraft and large number of civilian aircraft on display. The museum also has the Minot Airport beacon, a large collection of aviation photographs, literature and periodicals as well as Minot Fire Department trucks from the 1920's and 1930's.
