About the area

The Garrett Mountain Reservation is about a mile away from the Municipal Court. There are beautiful trails around this Mountain and also hiking facilities. The Great Notch Reservoir, which is a dam is located near the foothills of this mountain. Home to several beautiful parks such as Pennington Park, Westside Park and Upper Raceway Park. These parks have trails for walking and cycling and benches. Garrett Mountain campus of Berkeley College, a a private college with locations in NY and NJ, is also here. The boro has many off-campus residential opportunities for Berkeley College students.
