We think this court may not be that busy, with under 40 residents. How did they manage to find two judges? They must be related.
But per comment (below), the court is actually quite busy and the judges are well educated.

About the area

Red House, once a lumbering community, now has only 38 residents. It has the lowest population of any community in New York. A good part of the township is within the Allegany State Park. Interstate 86 runs through the town, plus NY Route 280. With nearly 40,000 acres in the town, the average resident has 1000 acres (but see user comment at very bottom). The Bay State Company used to dominate the town.

May 28 2010 02:23:06: Crooked town looking for out of state residents to give tickets too. They should be investigated by the state of new york!!
Jan 31 2010 05:39:37: The court circulates about 1200 cases per year mostly due to activity within the State Park. Both judges hold advanced degrees. The average resident owns about 3 acres not 1000 acres and the court is said to be one of the most active municipal courts within Western NY. As of this writing one hundred percent of all cases are from defendents residing outside of the municipality.
Jan 05 2007 04:20:05: In-fact the Red house town court has over 400 cases a month because of the bussy park life. THe tickets are sometimes intence such as animal abuse, underage drinking and faulse identity. The judges are husband and wife. It is a peacfull little town with beautiful wild life and forestry.
