Funny note - the Town's website (perutown.com) was taken over by someone selling Z-Eliminator for getting rid of zebra mussels. Wonder if anyone lost an election over that one.
Court used to use a PO Box but that has apparently ended.
About the area
Peru is an unofficial suburb of the City of Plattsburgh. A large school district has produced a number of successful highschool sports teams. A historical reenactment takes place annually and is a popular event in Peru. The Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) runs through the eastern edge of the town, near Lake Champlain.
