| About the area |
Hope is a small rural town in the Adirondack Mountains. It doesn't receive as much tourism as the rest of Hamilton County, but it has some good places for hiking and hunting, and the beautiful Sacandaga River runs through it's southern end. Since Hope doesn't attract many tourists and its native population is small, it doesn't get too much crime beyond occasional speeding tickets and other misdemeanors. Besides that, it's a very nice town with great scenery.
