Very small area with many farms and fields surrounding it. Established in the 1800's Cold Brook is north east of Utica. Many small towns surround Cold Brook and there are many acres of woods. The Black Creek Reservoir is also not far away and good for picnics and maybe some ice fishing. This is a great place to visit in the summer on your way to Utica. Utica provides the area with shopping, cultural events, and business needs. Population very small as it is a little over 300 people.
