Feb 14 2007 03:28:31: Actually, Mr. Englert has since retired.
Jan 27 2007 03:44:43: I hesitated about whether to publish the 1-10-07 comment. Judge Englert is a good guy and a good judge, and I completely disagree with that description of him. I have little experience with the Glenville PD, but suspect theyre not as bad as the commenter suggests. --Warren Redlich
Jan 11 2007 01:04:01: Not sure about town court, but traffic court is a ZOO- extremely busy! The Gpenville Police are also VERY agressive yet highly incompetent. Ive taken cases for traffic several times, and 9 times out of 10, theres a fatal flaw - cop forgot to sign ticket, cop forgot to provide supporting dep, cop forgot to sign ticket, etc. and Riggi is often one to accept defeat and let it slide, while the cop is itching to press it forward with a new ticket. Englert is very, very unfair, often outragreous in rulings. Migliore is warm, grandfather-like very pleasant, friendly, and open-minded.
