The popular US highway 1 was actually the Ocaneechee path once upon a time. The people who belonged to the Oconee tribe were called the Oconeechee’s. Native Indians used only their own paths to travel. One tribe never crossed the path of the other. Well it makes so much sense doesn’t it in the literal meaning. Never cross others will path or you end up with wars!!
