New Cumberland Circuit Court is the First Circuit Court of Hancock County in the Judicial Circuit Court system of West Virginia.

About the area

A good place to enjoy the outdoors is nearby Tomlinson Run State park. The park covers close to 1,400 acres much of which lies along the stream called Tomlinson Run. One section of the park is dedicated to a wilderness area with forested hills, overhanging cliffs of sandstone and shale, and a large collection of wildflowers and fauna. The other section of the park has facilities for camping, picnicking, group camping, swimming, fishing, boating, basketball, volleyball, hiking trails and miniature golf. There are program events taking place here from Spring through Fall.
