About the area
An early settler and his wife both lived to be over 100 and as a result the town was named in celebration of this fact. About one mile South of the town, on route 250, you will find one of the last remaining covered bridges, the Fish Creek Covered Bridge, in the United States. The Historic Alpine Theater and Museum is located on Pennsylvania avenue.
