| Comments | The court staff is friendly and the judges and prosecutors are easy to work with. The court facility is badly overcrowded, and often people have to wait in the stairwell. There is no proper jury room, which makes jury trials awkward. |
| About the area | Rotterdam is a heavily Italian and working-class suburb of Schenectady. There are two school districts -- Mohonasen and Schalmont. Schenectady's industrial decline has been tough on Rotterdam, but it's still a wonderful place to live, raise children, and eat Italian food. |

| Judges | Hon. Kenneth Litz and Hon. Kevin Mercoglan, both fine and pleasant judges. |
| Prosecutors | The ADAs are Ray DeMatteo and Peter Willis - both decent fellows. Attorneys can resolve most matters, including Trooper tickets, by mail with the ADAs. They do not always get to the paperwork. Some cases will last forever unless the attorney goes in to Court to discuss them with the ADA in person, but this is generally not a problem for anyone involved. |
