| About the area |
Located on the Delaware River where where New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania meet. American Bald Eagles can be seen from public viewing areas. Known as "River City" since it had been a port on the former Delaware and Hudson Canal. The only reported lynching of a black man in New York State happened here and 1892 and his hanging was witnessed by many residents.
