About the area

Southside is situated on a peninsula like area in the Coosa river. If you are in Southside in the middle of July; you must come to the Annual City Fest celebration. There's music, an Arts and Craft Show, an Antique car show, fireworks, Food & Drink and a Food Festival. The Southside community really believes in keeping the town clean so each year a Community Clean-Up day is held with a majority of the residents taking part.
