Alexander District Court is one of the state district courts in Pulaski county. SR 111 runs through Alexander while IS 30. US 67 and US 70 run along the Northern border of the town.

About the area

Can you imagine less than a year after Alexander began with two families in 1878; the town had grown to approximately 70 people and had a drug store, a practicing physician, two other stores and a sawmill. At the same time the railroad was laying out plots and selling them for homesteads and businesses. A german farmer from Pennsylvania acquires a farm tract of over 800 acres.
