At Aqueduct Park located on Route 31 west from the Village is a restored "Lock" from the Erie Canal. It's a nice place to picnic along Cold Springs Brook.
The Erie Canal Towpath (along Rte. 31) is a great place for hikes on the Conservancy Trail.
Weedsport mineral springs is thought to have healing properties. Arrowhead Water from the famous Weedsport Mineral Springs was bottled and shopped to New York City.
